How to Execute a Multi-Material Pop-Up Display: A Guide to Efficient Customization & Delivery

Project Background
This collaboration focused on the global launch of the brand’s “Space Series” new dolls. The pop-up locations were set at two prime spots in Hong Kong – the golden entrances of Tsim Sha Tsui and Times Square, including street-facing windows. These are high-traffic areas frequented by premium customers and international visitors. Truly, a core showcase for the brand.The project demanded exceptional quality in texture and color finishing for all display props. At the same time, it had to keep pace with the global launch rhythm. The timeline from drawing approval to on-site installation was only 10 days. The displays also needed to match the “space exploration” theme and the premium feel of the limited-edition series. Therefore, the ability to customize multi-material displays within a short lead time became the core challenge.

【Focus 1】Themed Window for the “Space Series” New Products
For the entrance window glass, we used an easy-to-apply and easy-to-remove ultra-transparent film. It fits different window sizes. No residue. No bubbles after installation. Window dressing is completed quickly. The result balances transparency with vibrant color, enhancing brand visibility while ensuring the products stand out clearly. It conveys the theme and stops passersby in their tracks.
【Focus 2】Unique Shapes and a Collision of Multiple Materials
At the front of the sales area, we placed display platforms with distinctive forms and varied materials. They serve as visual magnets. A large doll is displayed on a wave-shaped circular platform with a silver brushed stainless steel edge. The two-tier display stand uses stainless steel panels and sandblasted cement – materials that echo the bright silver and fine sparkle texture of the “UFO” new dolls. Multiple processes are applied: precision cutting, polishing, sandblasting, and bonding. This ensures the overall shape, surface texture, and finish are flawless, perfectly complementing the Space Series presentation.
【Focus 3】360° Hanging Display Column in the Central Area
In the central zone – the small accessory and charm area – we installed a floor-to-ceiling cylindrical display rack in the brand’s blue-and-white VI colors. It allows 360° product display. Paired with matte metal hanging bars, the charms are arranged neatly, highlighting their delicate quality. Positioned right at the core of the customer’s browsing path, it captures attention to the maximum extent.
【Focus 4】Shelf Systems: Good Looks Meet Practicality
We made full use of the mezzanine display space. Sturdy metal shelves with customized spacing and colorful transparent acrylic display cases were adopted. They meet the display needs of both the “Space Exploration” series and the brand’s spring new dolls. The metal shelves are made of matte stainless steel with a special surface texture finish, paired with nylon aircraft straps – a perfect match for the space-tech and functionalist theme. The colors echo two distinct product palettes: Stellar Gray and Flame Orange. Stainless steel and acrylic – two completely different materials – reinforce the sci-fi atmosphere while blending in the warm, healing qualities of the dolls. Through standardized processes, we achieved a perfect integration of multiple materials and product style. The result satisfies the highest standards for high-end display texture, balancing aesthetics and utility. Every display prop becomes a vehicle for the brand to deliver value and strengthen identity.
【Focus 5】Full-Process Assurance: From Production to On-Site Execution
