PUMA Display Props: When Sportswear Meets Nature — How to Create Eye-Catching Retail Visuals?

In sportswear retail design, getting customers to stop, look, and pull out their phones for a photo — that's the shared challenge for brands and retail teams alike.

We recently designed a full retail display prop system for PUMA H-STREET, the street-casual line. Two grass-panther installations — one mini, one large and luminous — that blend artificial turf, the puma LOGO, and natural greenery into one unified experience. We literally brought the lawn indoors. This isn't just another metal-and-acrylic rack setup. Through a consistent visual language, it delivers a fresh outdoor-nature feel to brand display.


Core Design Concept

Brand Identity Meets Nature

Standard shoe stands are often repetitive and lack differentiation. The design core of this PUMA H-STREET prop lies in extracting the iconic puma logo, turning it into a 3D sculpture, and covering it with artificial turf.

Material innovation: the entire prop is covered in uniform artificial grass, with the puma sculpture emerging from the surface and paired with a black matte logo plate, blending natural freshness with premium brand presence.

Visual contrast: the green installation creates a striking contrast with the sneakers and instantly draws customers' attention, fitting the relaxed and youthful identity of H-STREET perfectly.

Two Props, Full Coverage

Mini Version: Counter Display, Detail Focus

Its role is to highlight the details of a single sneaker and help customers focus on the product itself.

It can be paired with figure cutout panels to create a stronger styling atmosphere.

Large Luminous Version: Window and Pop-Up Hero Visual

Its role is to act as the main visual for windows and pop-ups, showcasing the brand image together with the blue-sky and grassland screen and stacked branded shoeboxes.

The green installation perfectly echoes the theme visuals and creates a unified series language that strengthens the store's sophistication and street style.

The two props can be used together throughout the store, from entrance to counter and window to checkout, reinforcing the core H-STREET concept of urban street and wild nature.

Built to Spec: Design Drawings, Perfectly Realized

The final pieces look exactly like the renders — every detail accounted for:

• A full sheet of even artificial turf across the base, convincingly realistic;

• The black matte logo plate contrasts beautifully with the turf-sculpted puma;

• Trendy figure cutouts on the sides lock in the streetwear styling;

• Pop a pair of PUMA casual shoes on it, and the full "urban nature" scene comes together.

The green visual language effectively softens the stiffness of traditional commercial displays and gives the installation strong reuse value across different retail scenarios.
